Todd Babb - sculpture and acrylic paintings The gallery has represented Todd in this market for more than a year. His series of dancer-inspired sculptures remains one of the most collected works of art by our clients. We are thrilled that Todd chose the gallery to unveil his latest series of sculptures inspired by the rhythm and movement of musicians. To complement the sculptures, he has included several paintings (that reflect their own beat) with the exhibit. see more of Todd’s current exhibit (click)
Gilly Gobinet - watercolor Dancing is very close to artist Gilly Gobinet's heart. Unable to decide whether to apply to London's Sadler's Wells Ballet School or the Slade School of Art, she opted for biological sciences as her first career choice. After living and working in France and travelling extensively in Europe for a number of years, she moved to the Caribbean, where dancing is second nature, and took up painting full time. The artist shares that depicting movement on paper is almost a contradiction. However, the challenge of painting dancers is both highly stimulating and very enjoyable for her. Gilly has called the Caribbean island of Antigua her home for more than twenty-five years. She has received numerous awards for her paintings. |
