late mar 09 I am so excited to have the old neon sign set up in the gallery space. It's very cool! There's a half-wall that divides the space and the sign sits on top of it facing the front windows. When lit at night, shining through the glass it looks very Soho!
It's been a great month, starting out with the reception at the Memphis Botanic Garden, where I had a record night, and a great crowd. Having so many of my “inspirations” going to homes of clients who were moved and felt the piece spoke to them is what motivates me to paint and create!
And now the month is ending with my cool neon sign - in it’s new home! Can't wait to see what happens in April! (yes, I know I still need to get the new signs for outside.)

apr 09 It’s very lonely around the gallery and at home now that Atlas has gone to doggie heaven. I know he’s having fun chasing balls and doing tricks. For all of you who have shared such kind words to provide comfort during this transition time - thank you. |
