While I will have a theme in mind as I begin the process, each piece of art takes me on a journey with a personality of its own. I find naming the piece is the final step in the creative process.

Over the past twenty years, I’ve worked to perfect my process. Using multiple mediums - primarily acrylics and a marble/coral stone compound - allow me to build numerous layers of textures and colors. I manipulate the acrylics and force their blending by using water and turpentine. To protect the original from the elements and preserve the purity of the color, each piece is finished with a heavy glaze. |
