Jeannine Paul’s Work

About Jeannine Paul

Memphis, Tennessee

Jeannine Paul, an artist and Holocaust survivor, was born in Paris, France. She now calls Memphis home.

Jeannine began studying art while in hiding at l’ecole de la Petite Republique in Sevres during World War II. After marrying a doctor at Le Bonheur, she moved to Memphis over fifty years ago and continued her art studies at Memphis College of Art. Her paintings reflect her love of life and inspiration from her travels, and are as vibrant as she is at the age of 93.
