Tom Kelly’s Work

About Tom Kelly

Tom Kelly is a blown glass artist. His studio, Vitrix Hot Glass Studio, is in Corning’s historic Market Street District, a center for American glassmaking. Vitrix is recognized as one of the country’s leading contemporary glass studios. Its commitment to artistry, innovation, and craftsmanship is celebrated.

Tom journey into glass began in 1982 when he started working for Bob Rockwell. Bob is the leading collector of Carder-Steuben glass. At that time, Tom did not realize that this job would spark a lasting passion and career in glass art. The exposure to the artistry of Steuben glass shaped Tom’s skills.

Today, Tom’s work is featured in top fine art glass galleries. His creations embody the elegance and fluidity of blown glass. He showcases traditional techniques with contemporary aesthetics. Each creation shows his deep respect for glass, highlighting its dynamic, shiny, and versatile nature.
