Largely self-taught, Lisa has pursued fused glass with fervor. She feels she has barely touched the vast possibilities glass presents. She has expanded her artistic skills to include metalworking by studying at the Memphis College of Art and Arrowmont School of Crafts.
Lisa’s exploration in creating began at an early age, learning hand design and sewing from her mother. Her interest in sewing led eventually to quilting and basket weaving. Once Lisa’s children left for college, she resumed her artistic pursuits.
The artist hopes her work will create conversation and allow those collecting to feel they are wearing art.
