Will You Frame ...

Our Custom Framing Process
Nine Quick Steps to Success
Set up an appointment for custom framing. Let us know if you want to come to our design center at the gallery or want to work on the framing virtually (we can pick up what is to be framed and Facetime you with design options).
Let's discuss what ideas/wishes you may have regarding framing. It's ok if you haven't a clue; that's why we are here.
We'll start by looking at mats. There are a lot of options: paper, hand-wrapped fabric mats, textured mats, multiple mats, and more! By the way, did you know we hand-wrap our fabric mats at our frame shop to create the most custom look (and no frayed edges)?
Then, let's consider mouldings: wood or metal, gold or silver? Or, perhaps a warm wood, a modern liquor, or a bright color - these are all great options to consider.
We can't forget the glass. If glass is needed for your project, we'll discuss if glare or special protection is needed for what is being framed. We find that the majority of framing best utilizes standard UV protection glass; however, we have conservation and museum glass available if needed.
Questions - we will answer those, too!
We will let you know the cost and then you can decide if you want to proceed, make a change, or wait for another day.
Deposit - we think a 50% deposit is lovely.
Typically, our custom framing takes two weeks; however, it may currently take a bit longer. As our suppliers work through challenges due to the pandemic, there may be a few delays in our frame shop. But we will keep you posted.
